FEDIAF is the trade body representing the European pet food industry. 15 national trade associations and five companies (Affinity Petcare, Hill’s Pet Nutrition, Mars PetCare, Nestlé Purina Petcare and Wellpet) are members of the FEDIAF.

FEDIAF President
Rosa Carbonell

Rosa Carbonell holds a Veterinary Degree University Autònoma of Barcelona (UAB) and an MBA. In 2005, she also pursued a Managing Development Program (PDD) at IESE Business School. She has been working at Nestlé Purina PetCare since 2003 and is Head of B2B M & Veterinary Affairs Zone Europe. She has over 20 years of experience in the PetCare industry in pet food and pharmaceutical companies. She also has a proven track record in National Trade Associations and in the IESE Women management forum. Since June 2022 Rosa has been elected the President of FEDIAF.


Secretary General
Milica Jevtić

Milica is the Secretary General of FEDIAF since November 2025. With a Master’s degree in Business Communication from the Université Libre de Bruxelles, she brings almost 20 years of experience in EU public affairs, advocacy and association management, having built her career within Brussels-based European industry federations such as the European Fruit Juice Association (AIJN) and  the European Cider and Fruit Wine Association (AICV). She is recognised for her collaborative approach, strategic thinking, and commitment to building consensus among diverse stakeholders.


Deputy Secretary General, Public Affairs and Communications
Franco Garbelotto

Franco Garbelotto is FEDIAF’s Deputy Secretary General and manages Public Affairs and Communications. He holds a master’s degree in international relations from the University of Bologna and his studies included a year spent at the University of Chicago. Franco joins the pet food industry having worked over ten years in Brussels in key roles managing EU Affairs and, most recently, heading up the Brussels office of the German association ABV.


Technical Director
Giuseppe Luca Capodieci

Luca is the Technical Director at FEDIAF. He is a food technologist with a PhD in agri-food economics and brings extensive experience in technical and regulatory affairs across the feed, food and pet food sectors. Before joining FEDIAF, Luca was Technical & Regulatory Manager at FEFANA, where he led key strategic projects including the revision of EU feed additive legislation, sustainability initiatives for feed ingredients, EFSA stakeholder engagement, and the coordination of consortia for feed additive re-authorisations. He previously served as Senior Advisor at UECBV, gaining in-depth knowledge of animal by-products, supply chains and the links between the feed, food and livestock sectors.


EU Policy and Regulatory Affairs Manager
Aleksandra Prandota, PhD

Aleksandra is the EU policy and Regulatory Affairs Manager at FEDIAF. She has a PhD in Agricultural Sciences specialising in nutrition and food technology from Warsaw University of Life Sciences where she also obtained a Master’s Engineer degree in Commodity Studies. Additionally, she graduated from Wageningen University with a MSc in Food Safety and a Bachelor degree in International Relations from the Warsaw School of Economics. Aleksandra has over 15 years of experience working for both public and private sectors, including: DG SANTE of the European Commission, a trade company dealing with exports of agricultural products and Polish national and regional institutions responsible for the management of EU Funds.


Scientific and Regulatory Affairs Officer
Delara Khodadad

Delara Khodadad is FEDIAF’s Scientific and Regulatory Affairs Officer. She joined FEDIAF having completed a Traineeship at the European Commission DG RTD and gathering valuable experience in the private sector, working on Sustainability and Chemical Legislation. Delara has a Masters in Advanced International and European Studies, Applied European Policy and Governance Studies in addition to a degree in European Studies from Maastrict University.


Office and Event Officer
Rachel Addy

Rachel Addy looks after the FEDIAF Office and Events. She holds a first class degree in Events Management from Manchester Metropolitan University. Rachel comes with a wealth of international experience, having managed multiple high profile events throughout London, US and Australia. Rachel has spent the last few years in Brussels focussing more specifically on Project and Office Management.
